Your agency may direct you to an initial examination, but it cannot compel you to stay with a physician you did not choose. On an accepted OWCP claim, no. Authorized treatment is billed directly to the Department of Labor, not to you and not to your health insurance. If your agency has issued a Form CA-16, that document guarantees payment for up to 60 days of care and lets us begin treating you immediately — before your claim is formally adjudicated.
